Open Nature is committed to turning biodiversity knowledge into action. From satellite-powered AI to intuitive dashboards, we believe in openness and innovation to make biodiversity data usable for scientists, communities, and decision-makers alike.
Some of the ideas we’re working to fund and create:
Open API for collecting biodiversity intelligence, and to make species distribution data more accessible and usable
Building local knowledge into tools through collaboration from the onset, to democratise knowledge and enable local action.
Foundational nature AI model, to integrate ecological understanding and biodiversity knowledge to provide answers to questions that we currently find very difficult to address.
